It seems that knee injuries and kitesurfing go hand in hand. Therefore, together with Arena-Fysio, Ocean Yogis has created a workshop where we will get deeper into the topic.
The workshop is organised by Lennard Knol [ArenaFysio] and Stanislava Kirova [Ocean Yogis]. Lennard is Physiotherapist & Osteopath and he is passionate about kitesurfing. Stanislava is a Software Engineer and a Yoga teacher and also very passionate about kitesurfing. The workshop is a great mix of our experience and knowledge.
Lennard is going to speak about: - Knee injuries in kitesurfing - Knee anatomy - What are the most common injuries in kitesurfing - Why the cause is not the knee itself - What are the best exercises to prevent and work on your injury
Stanislava will speak about: - How you can use simple yoga exercises to prevent yourself from getting a knee injury - She will also teach a yoga lesson focused on hip openers and ankle mobility/stability which will improve the range of motion of your knees.
The workshop is FREE of charge and you are all welcome to join. Bring your friends :) .
